We know life can be heavy, and we can't control the darkness in the world, but we can create a little light.
Every game is our way of giving families and friends a chance to laugh, play, and reconnect with what really matters. This is why we're here, and this is what drives us forward.
OUR STORY
It all started in 2020, deep in the heart of COVID quarantines, when boredom hit pandemic levels. Like a lot of families, the Moore father/son duo, J.R. and Devan, turned to board games to survive the lockdown. But they quickly realized the best games don't just pass the time… they bring people closer.
So they decided to make their own.
Their first creation, Lucky Undies, introduced the world to Granny, the unpredictable and mischievous legend who's equal parts lovable troublemaker and family glue. Players instantly fell for her rebellious energy, and Mad Granny Games was born: a scrappy little outfit dedicated to rebellious, family-friendly fun.
Devan hand-draws every piece of art while J.R. wrangles the business side. They've survived every classic indie-publisher learning curve (design tweaks, manufacturing headaches, and the occasional "wait… how do we actually get this on shelves?"), all fueled by the pure joy of watching families laugh together over a table full of cards.
